As a Pool Service Tech you will service clients pools and spas by cleaning them, adjusting water chemistry, troubleshooting and fixing equipment issues such as malfunctioning heaters, pumps, filters, automatic covers and automation.
This is most likely a seasonal position; however, we always bring our best people back each spring. That said you must be willing to work long hours (12+ a day in spring and fall) and up to 6 days a week in all weather conditions. You must have a valid driver’s license and be willing and able to pass random drug tests.
Troubleshooting is major part of this position. A strong base of mechanical skills is a must as is the ability to plumb using PVC piping. You will be on-site on your own and must be able to quickly pinpoint why the customers’ equipment is not functioning correctly, whether that is because a circuit board is fried, a high-limit sensor is bad, a motor needs to be replaced or seal is shot. You will be the hands and face of our company and as such you will need to be kind, courteous, professional and hard working.
You will have a company vehicle for traveling from our shop to the client sites. It goes without saying that your driving and the condition of the vehicle will reflect on how we are perceived by the public, therefore, your driving habits must be impeccable and you will be expected to keep your vehicle clean and tidy.
Water chemistry plays a HUGE part in both how clean the water is and also the functioning of the equipment. Prior knowledge of water chemistry is a big plus but we will be willing to train the right candidate.
If you have a great positive can-do attitude, love to work hard while getting a tan pool side, want to use your mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to help customers get the most out of their summer then we have the job for you.
We look forward to meeting you!Pool Service Tech Hourly – Mid teens
